Lance


 Lets start with the Hunting Arts
Shield assault : charging forward block that is also an attack

Screw Thrust : powerful charged triple hit attack

Enrage Guard : a counter move which absorb the attack of a monster and powers up your lance

Stances

Arial Style Lance
benefits: ability to use arial moves and jumps by just pressing B, tripple hit jump attack
disadvantage: only one hunter art, no shield bash

Striker Style Lance
Benefits: hunter arts available is 3
Disadvantage: no triple hit on final attack 3 hit combo, no X+A move, no jump attack while charging forward, no reverse swipe when charging forward

Bushido Style Lance
Benefits: Awesome Bushido guard,2 swipes after a bushido guard
Disadvantage: 1 hunting art and you have no charge counter

Guild style Lance
 Benefits: 2 hunting arts and traditional way of monster hunting
Disadvantage: not much lol


My Recommendation 
all of the styles are good no doubt unlike the other weapons which obviously has a specific style that will benefit it, but for me i am a guard lancer so bushido style is for me but i occasionally change styles
